Too much salt in soup
Peel potato,wash and cut into the soup. Heat the soup for 10minutes. The potato will absorb the excess salt. You can take out the potatoes when its job is done.
Burnt rice
Put a piece of white bread on top of the rice for 10 minutes. This draws out the burned flavor.
Smelly hands after chopping onions or garlic
Rub your your hands on a stainless steel spoon. The spoon absorbs the odour.
