- 2 large Bell peppers
- 12 African birds eye chillies
- 1 medium Onion
- 8 cloves Garlic
- 1 tablespoon Smoked Paprika
- 1 Bay leaf
- ½ tablespoon Oregano
- ¼ cup Olive oil
- ¼ cup Cider Vinegar
- ½ cup Lemon Juice
- 2 Stock cubes optional
- Salt to taste
Roast the peppers in the oven or over a stove (Optional)
Add the peppers and all other ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend till smooth
Pour in a pot, put on stove and simmer for 10 minutes.
Once thickened, Take it off the heat.
Let it cool completely then it's ready to use.
Adjust the peppers to suit your tastebuds (use more or less according to personal preference)
Roasting the peppers is optional
