  • Blender or Food processor


  • 2 Bell peppers
  • 12 African birds eye chillies
  • 1 Onion
  • 8 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tbspn Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tspn Cameroon Pepper
  • 1 Bayleaf
  • 1 tablespoon Oregano
  • ¼ cup Olive oil
  • ¼ cup Cider Vinegar
  • 6 tbspn Lemon Juice
  • 2 Stock cubes
  • Salt


  • Roast the peppers in the oven or over a stove (Optional)
  • Add the peppers and all other ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend till smooth
  • Pour in a pot, put on stove and simmer for 10 minutes. Take off heat and leave to cool completely.
  • Store in air tight container



Adjust the peppers to suit your tastebuds (use more or less according to personal preference)
