Air Fryer Frozen Tilapia

Ingredients

  • 500 g Frozen Tilapia Fillets
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • ½ teaspoon Parsley
  • ¼ teaspoon Garlic granules
  • teaspoon onion granules
  • 5 g Stock cube (crushed) optional
  • ¼ teaspoon Black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil

Instructions

  • Mix the paprika, black pepper, parsley, onion granules, garlic granules, stock powder, salt, and olive oil.
  • Bring out the frozen Tilapia fillets from the packaging and run the fillets under cold water to deglaze them (this helps the seasoning mix stick better to the fish fillets).
  • Pat them dry with kitchen towels and brush the seasoning mix all over the fish.
  • Arrange the seasoned Tilapia in the air fryer basket and air fry frozen Tilapia for 10 minutes at 190C/390F.
  • Bring out the air fryer basket and rest the fish fillets for 3 minutes.
    Serve and enjoy.

Notes

  • You can use this recipe to cook fresh Tilapia however the cooking time will be shorter so check on the fish from 6 minutes so it does not overcook.
  • You don't have to preheat the air fryer for this. I don't and I get great results all the time.
  • Squeeze some lemon juice on the fish for lemon flavor. Add or use any fish seasoning you've tested and loved. Customize the flavor to how you like it.
  • No need to flip the Tilapia when cooking it to avoid the fillets breaking apart.
