Easy chicken suya recipe. This Nigerian suya chicken is spicy, tender, juicy, and bursting with flavors. It's a delicious protein dish that is a popular Nigerian street food and can be served as an appetizer, or main dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken
  • 2-3 tablespoons Suya spice
  • 1 stock cube
  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable oil
  • Salt

Instructions

  • Put chicken in a bowl and pat dry.
  • Add vegetable oil, stock cubes, suya spice, and salt.
  • Mix well and cover with cling film. Leave in the fridge to marinate for 1 hour.
  • Arrange the seasoned chicken in a baking tray or dish, and bake in the oven at 200C/400F for 30-40 minutes or until cooked through.
  • Serve with more Yaji, onions and tomatoes.

Notes

  • Serve with more suya spice.
  • Suya spice is also known as Yaji.
  • If you use any other chicken part, adjust the cooking time accordingly.
