Ingredients

  • 4 Chicken leg quarters
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon Garlic granules
  • ¼ teaspoon Onion granules
  • ¼ teaspoon Parsley
  • ¼ teaspoon Rosemary
  • ¼ teaspoon Black pepper
  • ½ tablespoon Tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix paprika, garlic granules, onion granules, rosemary, parsley, black pepper, tomato paste, soy sauce, salt, and olive oil.
  • Pat the chicken legs dry with kitchen towels then use a knife to make 2 slashes on each leg quarter.
  • Add the seasoning mix to the chicken and rub till all areas of the chicken are well covered in the seasoning mix.
    Tip: If time is not of the essence, cover it with clingfilm and put it in the fridge to marinate for 1 hour.
  • Arrange the chicken quarters in a baking dish or tray and bake chicken legs in the oven at a temperature of 200C/400F for 45 minutes.
  • Bring out the chicken, and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
    Enjoy with any side dish of your choice.

  • Make slashes on the chicken to get the seasoning inside.
  • Add your favorite herbs to the seasoning mix if you desire.
  • Place the baking tray or dish in the middle of the oven for even cooking.
