Turkey Steaks Recipe

This is an easy turkey steak recipe that is cooked on the stovetop. These pan fried turkey cutlets are well-seasoned, juicy, tender, and flavorful. They cook in under 10 minutes and can be served with delicious sides of your choice.

Ingredients

  • 4 (380-450g) Turkey steaks
  • 1.5 teaspoon Paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon Garlic granules
  • ½ teaspoon Onion granules
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon Parsley
  • ¼ teaspoon Black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil

Instructions

  • Mix the paprika, Italian seasoning, garlic, black pepper, and salt in a small bowl.
  • Pat the steaks dry with paper towels.
  • Sprinkle the seasoning on the Turkey steaks on all sides and pat to cover them evenly.
  • Place a frying pan or cast iron skillet on medium heat. Add oil to the pan and when it is hot, gently add the seasoned Turkey steaks to the pan.
    Don't overcrowd the pan so there's room to flip the steaks easily. I cooked 4 turkey steaks in 2 batches.
  • Cook the turkey steak for 2-3 minutes, flip them and cook the other side for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Transfer the cooked Turkey steaks to a plate. Let them cool for 3 minutes before cutting into them. This allows the juice to redistribute inside the meat for a juicy, tender meat.
    Serve and enjoy

Notes

  • Adjust the seasoning to suit your taste or use any spices and herbs of your choice.
  • Don't overcook Turkey steaks so they don't become dry and tough.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan. If need be, cook in batches.
  • You can use this recipe for thin chicken breast.
