This is one of my easy turkey recipes. It's also the best way to cook turkey steak if you don't have an air fryer.
Ingredients
Here are what you will need to make it:
Turkey steaks
Paprika
Garlic powder
Onion granules
Italian seasoning
Parsley
Black pepper
Salt
Oil- Olive, vegetable or sunflower oil.
How To Cook Turkey Steak
Step 1- Mix the paprika, Italian seasoning, garlic, black pepper, and salt in a small bowl.
Step 2- Pat the steaks dry with paper towels.
t Step 3- Sprinkle the seasoning on the turkey cutlets on all sides and pat to cover them evenly.
Step 4- Place a frying pan or cast iron skillet on medium heat. Add oil to the pan and when it is hot, gently add the seasoned Turkey steaks to the pan.
Don't overcrowd the pan so there's room to flip the steaks easily. I cooked 4 in 2 batches.
Step 5- Cook the turkey for 2-3 minutes, flip them, and cook the other side for another 2-3 minutes.
Step 6- Transfer the cooked Turkey steaks to a plate. Let them cool for 3 minutes before cutting into them. This allows the juice to redistribute inside the meat for a juicy, tender meat.
Serve and enjoy.
How Long To Cook Turkey Steaks On the Stove top
How long to cook turkey steak on the stove is 4-8 minutes depending on the thickness of the cutlets. It is recommended to cook it to an internal temperature of 165F, however, they are so thin that it will be impossible to gauge the internal temperature with a thermometer. I recommend checking visually. Turkey steaks are cooked when there is no blood inside when it is cut into. The inside will be juicy and tender, and the outer golden brown.
Note that thinner cuts will cook around the lower time range while thick cuts might take up to 8 minutes. The ones I used here are about ½ inch thick and cooked in 4 minutes.
How To Serve
Turkey is versatile when it comes to what to serve with. It can be served with Salads, rice, potatoes, vegetables and more. Some side dishes I recommend are:
Diced potatoes, roast potatoes
Air fryer baby carrots, broccoli
Cream cheese pasta, creamy pasta
Mashed potatoes
It is great in sandwiches and wraps.

- Adjust the seasoning to suit your taste or use any spices and herbs of your choice.
- Don't overcook it so they don't become dry and tough.
