This lemon pepper marinade uses a few simple ingredients. The marinade is applied to the chicken, the chicken breasts are then put in the fridge for a few hours to be infused with the flavors. This marinade is made up of the below:

Lemon juice

Lemon zest

Parsley

Dried thyme

Rosemary

Black pepper

Onion powder

Garlic powder

Olive oil

How To Cook Lemon Pepper Chicken In Air Fryer

It's easy and here's how to make lemon chicken in air fryer:

Use a paper towel to pat the chicken dry.

Mix the black pepper, garlic powder, lemon juice, lemon zest, rosemary, thyme, parsley, salt, and oil in a bowl.

Rub the marinade all over the chicken.

Put the marinated chicken in a Ziploc bag, put it in the fridge to marinate for 4 hours.

Bring out the chicken breasts from the fridge and leave them for 15 minutes to get to room temperature.

Arrange the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer without overlapping them.

Set the air fryer to a temperature of 180C/380F, then air fry the chicken breasts for 8 minutes.

After 8 minutes, flip the chicken with a tong and continue to air fry for another 8 minutes.

Bring out the air fryer basket, let the chicken rest for 3-5 minutes to redistribute the juices inside.

To reheat it in the Microwave: Put the chicken on a microwave-safe plate, spritz the chicken with water, put the plate in the microwave, cover, and microwave at high settings for 1 minute and then at 30-second intervals till it's warmed through.

  • You can use store bought lemon pepper seasoning if it's a good one.
