Cooking frozen chicken wings in air fryer is simple and quick. Follow these steps to get the best air-fried frozen chicken wings:
Place frozen chicken wings in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 8 minutes at 400F. (If using chicken wings that are separated into individual pieces, skip this step).
Break apart the chicken wings, and transfer to a bowl. Remove any liquid from the drain pan and basket.
Add the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, oil to the chicken wings and toss.
Arrange the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, air fry at 400 F for 10 minutes.
Flip the wings and cook for another 10 mins. If using a thermometer, the internal temperature should be at least 165 F.
Bring out the wings, toss them in buffalo sauce or any sauce of your choice, and enjoy!.
How Long To Cook Frozen Chicken Wings In Air Fryer
This varies based on the type of frozen wings if they are breaded or not, the size, the type, and the brand of the air fryer however, how long to cook frozen chicken wings is generally between 20-30 minutes.
How long do you cook Tyson frozen chicken wings in air fryer at a temperature of 400F/200C is 20-25 minutes.
Other frozen chicken wing brands like Costco, Aldi, Kirkland cook in about 20 minutes.
Ensure that the wings are cooked and safe to eat by using a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. Insert the thermometer in the thickest part of a wing, If it reads at least 165F/75C then it is safe to eat. If it is below this temperature, keep cooking it till it reaches the above temperature.

Leave chicken wings to cool completely and put them in an airtight container, you can then store them either in the fridge or in the freezer.
How to store in the fridge- Put in an airtight container or sealable freezer bag then put in the fridge where it will be preserved for up to 3 days.
To store it in the freezer- It will last for up to 3 months in the freezer. Put chicken in a freezer-safe container or Ziploc, label with name and dates before putting in the freezer.
It can be reheated in the air fryer, oven, or microwave.
To reheat in the oven, transfer frozen chicken wings to the fridge a night before to thaw (You can also reheat from frozen). Preheat oven to 350oF, put chicken wings into a baking tray, put it in the oven, and reheat for 6-8 minutes or till heated through.
For reheating in the air fryer, arrange chicken wings in the air fryer basket and bake at a temperature of 350o F for 4 minutes or till heated through.
To reheat in the microwave, put it into a microwave-safe container. Cover to retain moisture and microwave on high settings for 2 minutes or till heated through.
