To Parboil Boil Before Air frying or Not
You can parboil potatoes before air frying or you can cook in the air fryer from raw without parboiling.
Cooking it from raw saves you from using additional tools like pot and colander that you would need if parboiling. Also as they are not thick slices, they cook fast without boiling.
For this recipe, you don't boil the potatoes before air frying.
How To Make Air Fryer Sliced Potatoes
First, wash the potatoes to remove any dirt from them (You can peel the skin off if you prefer).
Pat the potatoes dry then slice them into equal sizes.
Add the garlic powder, dried thyme, rosemary, parsley, salt, pepper, and olive oil. Mix till they are well combined.
Arrange the potatoes in the air fryer.
Set the air fryer to a temperature of 360F/180C.
Air fry the potato slices for 10 minutes. Bring out the air fryer basket, shake the potatoes and continue to air fry for another 10 minutes.
Bring out the potatoes.
Serve and enjoy.

To store it in the freezer- After packing the potatoes in a sealable container, label with name and dates then store in the freezer where it will keep well for up to 6 months.

To reheat it in the air fryer: Arrange the potatoes in the air fryer basket. Set the air fryer to a temperature of 360F/180C then air fry the sliced potatoes for 5 minutes or until they are warmed through.
How to reheat them in the oven: Arrange the potatoes on a baking tray.
Put the tray in the oven and bake the potatoes at a temperature of 190C for 5 minutes or until they are heated through.
