My children like fish sticks and I love the fact that I don't have to wait to thaw frozen fish fingers before cooking, and the best part is that in under 10 minutes, it's ready to eat!
Cooking frozen foods in air fryer is easy and the food comes out perfectly cooked when done at the right temperature and time. I have tried different temperatures and timings and the one I share in this post is what I have found works best.
The brand of fishfingers I used in this recipe is Birds Eye but you can use any good brand (this is not a sponsored post). It's readily available in most grocery stores and it is budget-friendly.

Frozen Fish fingers- I used Birds Eye fish fingers.
Air Fryer
Tong or Spatula
How To Cook Frozen Fish Fingers In Air Fryer
Step 1- Remove the fish fingers/fish sticks from all packaging.
Step 2- Arrange the fish sticks in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Leave spaces in between the fish.
Step 3- Set the air fryer to 190C/380F. Air fry fish fingers for 4 minutes, flip them with a tong or spatula, and air fry them for another 4 minutes.
Step 4- Take them out of the air fryer, and let them rest for 3 minutes.
Serve and enjoy.
Tips
- No need to preheat the air fryer.
- Air fry fish sticks from frozen for best result. Don't thaw the fish first.
- Don't stack the fish fingers in the air fryer. Leave space between them so they cook and crisp nicely.
- Flip them halfway during cooking for even crisp.
