1) Cut the Plantain- Cut the tips off the ends. Slice the skin to unwrap the plantain.
Lay the plantain on a flat surface and using a sharp knife, cut diagonally.
2) Add the cut ripe plantains to a bowl then add in olive oil. Rub the oil all over the plantains.
3) Arrange the plantains in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Don't overlap or pile them.
4) Air fry plantains at 200C/400F for 10-12 minutes or till they are browned.
There is no need to flip the plantains halfway during cooking as all sides brown nicely.
