Here are the ingredients you'll need to make one pan baked chicken and potatoes:
Chicken drumsticks
Potatoes - I like using Maris Piper potatoes for this recipe, but you can also use King Edwards potatoes, red potatoes, baking potatoes, or any other good one.
Paprika
Rosemary
Parsley
Cumin
Thyme
Garlic
Onion granules
Black pepper
Salt
Olive oil
How To Bake Chicken and Potatoes In The Oven
Step 1 - Add paprika, rosemary, parsley, cumin, garlic, onion granules, black pepper, and salt to a small bowl. Mix till combined.
Step 2- Clean and pat the chicken drumsticks dry with kitchen towels.
Add half of the seasoning and half the olive oil to the chicken. Mix till the drumsticks are evenly coated.
N Step 3- Peel the potatoes and cut them into 1-2 inches sizes, rinse, drain, and pat them dry with kitchen towels.
Step 4- Add the remaining half of the seasoning and olive oil to the potatoes and mix till they are evenly coated in the seasoning.
Step 5- Arrange the chicken drumsticks and potatoes on a baking tray and bake them in the oven at 200C/400F for 40 minutes.
Ensure the chicken is cooked to a core temperature of at least 165F/75C.
Step 6- Bring out the tray from the oven, let the chicken rest for 5 minutes then serve.
