Canned Salmon Pasta Recipe Without Cream

This canned salmon pasta recipe is simple yet so flavorful and tasty. It is the type of dish one will order at a restaurant but this is made in the comfort of the home and is budget-friendly.

Canned Salmon is easy to get in the stores and is inexpensive compared to fresh salmon. Not only is it cheaper, but because tinned salmon is a pantry staple with a long shelf life, most people have it accessible in their kitchen pantry. It can be used to make delicious meals for the family and this salmon pasta with tomatoes and no cream is one that my family love.

This is salmon pasta without cream yet you get a silky, creamy taste. It makes a healthy protein-rich dinner my family enjoys eating.

I have used penne pasta for this recipe post, but you can use fusilli, rigatoni, spaghetti, linguine, or any other pasta you choose.

Ingredients

Here are what you will need to make this recipe:

Pasta- Any pasta of choice. I used penne pasta you can use any other short or long pasta such as spaghetti and fettuccine.

Canned Salmon

Chopped tomatoes- If you don't have this, you can use plum tomatoes and crush them with a masher or spoon when added to the pot.

Onions

Tomato paste- This is also known as tomato puree.

Garlic

Italian seasoning

Parsley

Paprika

Stock cubes- This is optional. I like to add to my sauces for extra flavor.

Black pepper

Salt

Olive oil- You can substitute this for vegetable or sunflower oil.

Parmesan

ingredients for the recipe displayed.
