Prep the chicken- Clean and pat the chicken tenderloins dry with paper towels. Transfer them to a bowl.
Make the marinade - Mix olive oil, paprika, onion granules, black pepper, garlic granules, salt, and Italian seasoning.
Marinate Chicken - Add the marinade to the chicken tenders and mix till they are evenly coated in the seasoning marinade.
Bake- Arrange the seasoned tenderloins on a baking tray, leaving spaces between them.
Place the tray in the middle of the oven and bake chicken tenders at 400F for 20 minutes.
Serve- Bring out the tray and let the chicken rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
How Long To Bake Chicken Tenders In the Oven
How long to bake chicken tenders in the oven at 400F is 20 minutes. Baking it at 350F takes 25 minutes. The smaller the tenderloins, the quicker they cook, so thicker chicken strips will take longer to cook.
It's best to use an instant thermometer to check for doneness. Insert it into the thickest part of the chicken, and once it reads 165F, the chicken is cooked.
If you want to know whether to cook chicken tenders at 400F or 350F, that depends on how much time you have. If you have time and don't mind the longer cooking time, it's ok to bake it at 350F.
