Air Fryer Salmon Cubes Recipe
I call this air fryer salmon cubes but it is also known as air fryer salmon bites, salmon chunks, cubed salmon, and diced salmon.
My salmon cubes recipe is made with a few simple ingredients and it comes out delicious every time. My family and everyone I've made it for tell me how great it is and I believe you will love it too.
I love making salmon chunks in air fryer because of how easy, and quick it is and also because it requires minimal preparation and makes no mess.
Ingredients
Salmon Fillet- I use fresh. If using frozen salmon, thaw it first.
Seasoning- Paprika, garlic powder, onion granules, black pepper.
Salt
Olive oil
How To Make Salmon Cubes In Air Fryer
Cut the salmon fillets into cubes of 1-inch size each.
Mix paprika, black pepper, salt, garlic powder, and onion granules.
Add the seasoning and oil to the diced salmon and gently mix till all combined.
Transfer the seasoned Salmon to the air fryer basket.
Air fry salmon cubes for 5-6 minutes.
Take it out of the air fryer, and let it rest for 2-4 minutes.
Serve.
How Long To Cook Salmon Chunks In Air Fryer
Depending on the size, how long to cook salmon chunks in air fryer is 5-6 minutes at a temperature of 200C/ 400F.
I cut salmon into 1-inch cubes and this takes 4 minutes to cook. If you cut it bigger than 1 inch, it might take longer to cook.
Also note that if you cook at a lower temperature than 200C/400F, It will take longer to cook. I get the best results with 200C/400F.
Salmon is cooked when it is tender, pink inside, and flaky. The internal temperature will be at least 140F.

How To Store
Let the cooked cubed salmon cool completely, then transfer them to an airtight container or a Ziploc or freezer bag then store it in the fridge for up to 3 days or in the freezer for up to 4 months.
Salmon bites can be reheated from chilled or frozen in the air fryer, microwave, or oven.
In the air fryer: Reheat for 4 minutes at 200C.
In the microwave: reheat at 30-second intervals till warmed through.
Tips
- Cut salmon into similar sized cubes so they cook evenly.
- After it's cooked, let the salmon rest for a few minutes before serving it.
- Toss in sauce like bang bang, or garlic butter for extra flavor.
- Don't overcook as salmon can become dry and chewy when overcooked.
